Students

Quick rules for prospective students

  • As a general rule, I cannot accept regular graduate students (Research Students or Master Students). You must contact a professor or associate professor to be your main advisor. Exceptions might be made if we have worked together in the past.

  • I am usually happy to accept short term exchange students. When contacting me about exchange study in Tsukuba, make sure to mention what kind of topics you desire to study, your recent projects, and whether you are able to support yourself. Scholarships for exchange students are sometimes available if you have high grades, and if your university has an exchange partnership with Tsukuba University.
